Default 23rd Feb Meeting

Hi all

We are due to race this weekend, not dared look at the weather yet but fingers crossed.

I hope to go up and get some jobs done on the track, including some quite large ones on the dirt, May need a hand saturday as I would like to move some of the astro from the big jump on the dirt track (as I plan some big changes to that) to the table top on the grass track, as the covering on there is odds and sods and needs sorting with a better job

fingers crossed for the weather

Hi Dave. I'll be there on Sunday. Due to a change of plans I'm available to help saturday afternoon if you still need it. Also do you have any bowtie tyres for sale as I've ordered the truck version by mistake

Can't you just buy a truck to fit the tyres...

(BTW, I'd appreciate it if you have those pinions you mentioned to possibly fit my 1/18th SCT...)

I'll be there Sunday, you never know I might even race

Hi Dan, I've already put the pinions in my pitbox so I don't forget them.

Thanks Dave. How did you get on on thursday?

Is there any noticable difference in grip between the hole shots and bow ties?

Don't even bloody ask about thursday night I'll keep it simple heat 3 black tape at start of straight lifted, I found it just as I was opening up for the straight….airborn followed by wall car all better now after an hour in the shed tonight, shells a bit sorry for it's self tho but before that slight off things were going quite well

I prefer holeshots over bowties, myself and connor use them just about all the time, and as the track drys out more as the year goes on the holeshots will be far better

If those who are coming, could bring some gloves if they have some please, myself and dan started to move some of the astro bits from one track to another, after three bits we had had it with more people it will be easier, you don't get dirty as we slide a scafold pole under them and lift

I want to move the astro from the dirt track apart from the dirt jump up ramp as thats good as I have a big plan......the diggers coming back

I can't risk pulling, pushing or lifting anything 2moro Dave. Had trouble for the last 2 weeks with some pulled muscles in my back/ribs (even had a day off sick, which I never have!) & it's only now starting to ease. Light duties welcome if there are any...

I do have some gloves I can bring mind
