Default Track work days 1&2 March

I'm doing loads of work to both the tracks this week and weekend,I have the digger and dumper up there tomorrow making the new massive but car friendly jump on the dirt the new parts of the track and moving the table top further down the back straight to vastly improve visibility.

On the grass I have boarded the side of the table top so it can be made about 3Ft wider thus brca legal and also improving the take off and landing ramps.

This weekend I need help recovering the tabletop with better astro and astroing the possible new low tabletops, I also need help with the new cement dome corner markers on the dirt, plenty of cement to barrow about and hopefully sunday they can be painted red and white

Also a bonfire to please any pyromaniacs we have amongst us.

Sounds cool. Will the BRCA regional be run on the dirt or grass?

Grass as most are afraid of dirt thats why I'm making the big table top wider on the grass track so its BRCA track rules width,I offered the dirt when the email went out about clubs holding a second meeting, said they could use ballistic buggy tyres as they would work, and we could use the grass if the dirt was wet and I would change the layout, but no we gave 2 meetings to Harts nice track but don't support the region much as I believe most of there drivers support mid south.

I would do more to the grass track, but anything new really needs to be astro turfed, If I start digging massive features in the grass track it will become a dirt track! and grass seed takes to long to grow, I am doing a few bits to the grass track but only so much that we have spare astro to cover, I do have more to astro use on the grass track as I have taken most of the astro off the dirt track as I felt it was wasted there and more use on the grass if you see my point.

'Ere, you've ruined my 1:18 SCT 'short' circuit

Good work, is this revised section to be a permanent part of all 10th club dirt track days or still bypassed on occasions ?

should be fine to use all the time, the whole idea was to keep the big jump BIG, but make it far more car friendly, the takeoff ramp has not been touched, It launches the cars just as it did before I have just made it so you are no more than a couple of feet off the ground instead of 6feet off the ground with the possibility of nose 1st into the up ramp of the table top, you now jump over the top of all the new jump and land half way down the down ramp, but now if you bin it you just land early, no more badly broken cars.
