There's a very, very good chance I'll be doing 4wd Ben, got the ok for time off from work, just need the ok from her who controls the wallet now.

Left the entry form on her desk as a subtle little hint

Excellent!

I'll forge some nice DHL headed paper demanding your attendance at the inaugural annual logistics conference to be held in Coventry. Signed by John Pearce!

In for a penny John, in for a pound. I think you need to show Mrs M that your investments get used and you get your monies worth.....loosely translated into

Nope, the 2wd is on astro, I hate the stuff It's the reason I'm not going to do the old bugger's class a couple of weeks earlier at Silverstone.

Whats up John? Thumbs not fast enough for you? You could come to Eastrax with us on the 24th there is a Mid East regional so you can compare your speed to them lot and get some well needed astro running in the open class.

It's not a car killer like it used to be, the triples at the back are now a jump onto a table and that dodgy corner with a berm in the middle of it has been flattened, the track is a stunner now with a different layout than before. Check out me-or for pics

That's the real reason I'm only doing 4wd, still having the nightmares from when you beat me in 2wd at Colchester

Just to warn everyone - I am going to keep banging on about this!

List updated: -

Simon Watson – 2WD/4WD
Carl Dufton – 2WD/4WD F/P
Steve Parry - 2WD/4WD
Ben Hubbard - 4WD F/P
Lee Flynn - 4WD F
Paul Newman - 4WD
Daniel Newman - 4WD
George Fairweather - 4WD (even if it means abduction)
John Myall - 4WD
Dave Evans - 4WD/2WD
Thomas Watkins - 4WD?/2WD
Barry Abbott - 4WD

The 4WD looks promising and the recruitment drive will continue.

Dave, why don't you run 2wd in 4wd, shouldn't be that far off the pace especially as its on grass

Thomas is welcome to run my LRP. Got good gear in it. Robitronic 4600 cells, Novak GTB, 6.5 motor. Losi shocks on there so you can make quick and easy adjustments. On top of that, it can be used with 40Mhz or 2.4 Spektrum.

Seeing how well he drives - I'll be more than happy for him to run it. (oh yeah, it's got geared diffs - making life in the pits a lot easier!)

It's a bloody good car and pretty tough too! And cheap; so non of that, "oh but what if i break something". I really wouldn't care and we'll just rob Georges one for spares. (George doesn't know this yet)

Besides, if Thomas finishes high with it, I can use that as a USP when i come to sell it the following week!

Ben...your talking to a man who ran a madmonkey in an Afinal. Not going to say it's not good enough, if we keep the speed tame he will prob be quite good with it, only thing is he would want a durango all the way home
