Can you post your setup from Maritime please Ellis. Also do you use a brass front bulkhead at all in any conditions anymore or just the weight in the chassis?

Hi E

I see you were running #3 pistons (ghea?) - were these just for the indoor track or do you think you will be running that much pack outside?

And how do you feel the Losi shocks would have been in comparison?

Red AE rear spring - 1 harder than AE blue? You were running some heavy oil in there; was this again specific to the track or was it to compensate for the additional "roll" that the AE shocks seem to have?

cheers
Toby.

Most of the shocks settings were specific for indoors, certainly the red rear springs (2 harder than blue) and that thicker oil and yeah to compensate for the extra roll the AE's seem to have.

Toby, At the Petit which was high grip I ran 45wt front (which felt really heavy on the table bounce test but perfect on track) with a black spring and 35wt rear with a red spring and roll bar. Stiffer and heavier than normal but was really good on Losi shocks.

Cheers Dan

I've been running the AE V2 shocks since I got the X6 and the back end of last year and just managed to acquire (if the postie does his biz today) the remaining parts I need to build up some Losi shocks - looking forward to seeing how they compare!
