Default Which motor and ESC for Avante?

Hi guys.
Does anyone know what is the best ESC and motor combo for an avante please?
I have got one on order and am not sure of the best option. I just bought and built an Egress with a speed passion S and 9.5t motor with a Lipo battery. Would the same go in an Avante or not advisable?
Thanks in advance guys.
Simon

In mine I went old school with a Tamiya Technigold with a Novak speed controller. Not that fast by modern standards but the car took the power with ease.
If I was using a brushless set up I'd use my Hobbywing Esc and around a 8.5 motor with limited advance tuned in.

I have an Egress 2013 with an 8.5t brushless. I think the Avante should be able to handle the same amount of power in respect of the transmission as it has gear diffs front and rear and a centre diff to split the torque.

I must say the Egress with an 8.5T and an 18 tooth pinion is on the limit! It's a wheely machine! Too much throttle and it would lift the front wheels! It also needs tight diffs, as it has no slipper clutch.

For the Avante maybe go with a 10.5T and 20 tooth pinion.

Hi guys. Thanks very much for the advice. Can't wait for the Avante to arrive in the post now!
I took my Egress out on Thursday for its debut blast around the dusty trails. It got so dusty and beaten up by the stones. I was almost crying trying to clean it!
Thanks again.
