Default 2wd 410 chassis

If you have a 410 and 210 then you can use this chassis to get a 2wd 410.
Available in the for sale section.

Do you have a pic of it put together?
Hows the handling?
Is it saddles side by side at the rear?

Tried the car for the first time last week at Maritime indoors multi surface.
Was superb, needed a bit more weight on the backend.
But was pleased with how well it went.
Will be superb on a high grip surface.

Would be intereestring if you could widen the chassis near the rear to have the saddles side by side.
Use a bit of the alu you have in the middle front for side pods at the rear a little like the worlds prototype
Thinking about it you may have to redo the carbonbrace at the rear so it incases the SBS at the rear. Maybe not too hard with a bit of alu

Not hard to do.Its just that i stuck to this layout because of the standard shell. If i can get a shell to fit with that chassis layout then worth having a go at making one.

A few of the boys at our club have the tm2,so may even cut the chassis to suit the shell ?

Default 2wd 410

Update on the YR1.Second time out with the chassis.
Raced at HNMC today, first round of the winter series.Played with tyres and a few set ups.Q8 in the a final.Decided to put a bit of weight on the rear end for the final.
Totally transformed the car(wish i had done this in the heats)wanted to persevere tyre and suspension setup first.
Finished fifth in the final with my best time of the day.
Bit more track time needed, will keep you all posted.

Reading that then it might be an idea to look at the side by side saddles at the rear and and the wider chassis

Wanted to try this chassis set up first, its only the second time out with it.
Going to Maritime tomorrow so will try a little bit more weight on the rear.If that makes it better then yes it may make sense in doing the side by side chassis.
