Default Help in establishing prices?

Hi,

New user here and this is my first post.

I'm good friends with Nick Goodall and used to race 1/10th back in the mid 90's in my teens. As such, I've got all sorts of kit in my parents loft just sat collecting dust! Nick suggested that I advertise things on here as vintage stuff is fairly in demand at the moment.

I'm intended to get pictures of stuff asap and to comply with the for sale rules I want to establish prices for parts/cars etc.
Not being fully up to speed on forum etiquette, am I OK to ask for help in valuing parts?
Off the top of my head I've got:
- Losi XX with various graphite and ti parts.
- TTech scale 1/10th touring car
- Gemini radio gear
- LRP & Novak speedos
- Kopropo servos
- Various Corally/Reedy motors
- Schumacher Chargers/dischargers
- wheels/tyres off all sorts!

As I said, I don't want to break any forum rules and I'm hoping Nick will be along to verify me too. If I were to post pictures and descriptions here, would people be prepared to help me put prices to stuff? I've had a search in the classifieds but not much comes up that matches.

Cheers,

David

Afternoon all!

Thanks for posting this up Dave.

I suggested he did this as i'm sure some of the vintage experts will be happy to help so if any of you have any ideas that would be great

Dave, i'd certainly get some pics up though - show people some of the 90's goodness haha.

Thanks Nick. Quite scary when I worked out that a lot of the kit is 15odd years old now!

hi bud you may want to list each item with a photo of condition sounds abit excessive but that way you will get better response.

p.s best place to sell them all is ebay listing them with the right title if you want a set price buy it nows but vintage stuff is better on auctions may get that bit more for them.also include overseas too to get extra buyers interested.

That's cool with me.

I'm hoping to get over to my parents this weekend to get pictures of everything. I think it's free listing weekend too!
