Superb build thread mate,as previously said what a great help this will be to others,i have done 4 meetings so far with mine and its getting better and better each time out,i have heard it said that it wears out quick and breaks easily but i can assure anyone this car is strong.

The H2 has been the best value for money car i have bought,so pleased i chose this instead of paying £365 for a 2wd that is no better in my opinion

Great thread mate. If I'd built mine I'd have done it like that!! Lol. I didn't as I just gave it to Jason to do

It's a tough car. It's survived two outings with me and I can snap shock towers just by looking at them!!
It felt really sweet the weekend. Now I've sorted a little set up glitch (my part of the build!) and my mysterious wheel that fell off it should be even better for its next run.

Hi, thanks for the build guide I've just recently started to build my H2 Pro and this has been a great help.
Do you know if there is a set length for the steering link - servo to rack? I can't find a mention of it in the manual.
Also did your chassis bag come with the fixing screws for the side rails and servo mount? Mine is missing the ten 3x10mm countersunk screws and also the two 3x10mm button heads that secure the battery hold down posts. I've not opened any of the other bags in the kit apart from the diff and shock build bags so they might be in another bag?

I've found the answer now for the screws they are in the bag for the front bulkhead build. As for the link it needs to be around 4-5mm gap.

Just saw your post Paul, glad you got your answer. Consider the bags an adventure, it's all there somewhere!

I have now added a short blog entry about my first run with the car on the astro at TORCH.

See it HERE

I liked it
