Default Dex210 - mid motor config.

Just noticed the shots of Chris Doughty's DEX210 at the oOple invernational...

It's in mid motor configuration for those who were wondering what that was like..

I am guessing this version is like the R and will compete with the 22 on price and then later a full fat version will come out with all the alum and cf goodies, as there are very few alum bits on the car in the photo and plastic shock towers.

Cool. I hope it isn't a case of basic car and then a number of required upgrades.

if they usw gullwing front arms why dont they put the holes for the shocks in the lowest point. This is just more material on the wrong place. They could have made the gulwing much smoother.
Who designed this car? As far as I know not the same person that made the 401. Cap forward bodies are not a problem any longer now the whole car is ugly

Maybe arranged like a stick pack end on end?
i cant see how it would work any other way using those same side pods?

maybe there is an alternative pod for saddles?

I'd take a guess at the lipo sliding forward for mid motor running. With the car in the rear motor configuration there is a lot of space behind the steering servo and a bit of space between the lipo and rear shock tower.

Unless they use different sidepods, i think the saddle lipos are in stick formation. I guess once we get some body off shots we will know. If the saddles are in a stick layout then its a little cheaky as all cars with sticks lipos can run saddle lipos.
