1/12th scale
i was wondering if anybody had a 1/12th scale up for sale or if they know anybody who wants to sell theirs. Because i use my buggy all year round and by the time winter comes i just like to race something different.
I still race my buggy for the winter series's but i would like something else to race for a bit. So if you know anybody who is selling theirs or wants to get rid of it could they email me at christopher.palin@gmail.com Thanks

Make sure you get a spare chassis if you get the FTX car. It's a weak point - a few at TRCC have gone already, they seem to split just behind the rear screw in the wishbone. The L4 carbon chassis is a direct replacement, and doesn't break unless you have a really good crash.
Oh... get some spare T-bars too. You may be the Legend but you WILL break one. |

You might also want to replace the wishbones for the L4 or IRS ones as these are another weak point!! If your at the club on Wednesday, there should be one there, if you want a look at one thats if all the replacement parts have arrived!!

Might actually be cheaper to buy an L4 in the first place!!
I didn't know the wishbones were a weak point, I thought they were just AE ones. Despite my best efforts I haven't been able to break an AE wishbone, just T-bars as usual. Or... you could get a Calandra and avoid T-bars altogether, but after owning an L4 (and L3) and Calandra (x3), I would never go back from anything other than the L4. Could never get the Calandra to handle like the L4. ALTHOUGH! The BMI L-bar car looks quite snazzy. What were we talking about? IMHO, you cannot go wrong with an L4, it's like the 12th scale version of the Losi XX4, as it's easy to set up and goes well everywhere. (so i'm told, I last had a XX4 about 5 years ago). |
