Default Steering Servo Advice

Hi,

I am currently running a Dex408 with a Savox 1256 servo in.

To me it seems a bit slow.

I am looking for a faster servo but also one still with good torque.

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

Yes, its a tad on the slow side at .18sec but with almost 300oz of torque you have plenty of power to try another trick, simply mount your steering horn attachment higher on the arm further from the screw. or simply get a longer servo arm. a change of even just 2-4 mm will have a big effect. this will translate into higher speed at the cost of toque which you have in excess.
