Ran mine for the first time yesterday. Indoors so not ideal but was quite pleased. Felt a bit over damped all day so will need to work on that next time out.

Qualifting was tough as i was in bottom heat but ended up Q7 and finished 2nd overall with a 3 2 2 in the finals.

Overall pretty pleased so far.

first run last night, nice change from the Durango. Went well, a few minor adjustments and it should be better.

After several electrical layouts I finally opted for this one. Motor sensor lead in post, thanks MB. So just the body to paint and wing to cut before I can try this baby out….

It handles just brilliant on high grip astro
Although it's the "light weight" kit it's still a rather heavy car, but on the track it doesn't feel so. In contrary, I found it very nimble. It's very stable and so easy to drive and push hard. Ran it for the first time this weekend and I immediately posted the fastest laps of the day! A broken servo ruined my chance for overall victory though. This car responds very well to setup changes, whilst a lot of cars were fighting against grip-roll, I drove her hard with new tires and minimal tire cutting.

Thank you Yokomo

It was an "old" KO servo (PS-2173), back from the days when I used to drive Nitro on-road. Whilst steering to full lock to the left, it went back to centre position(only for a fraction of a second). This happened 3 or 4 times. Needless to say I was a couple of times too wide and forced into error because of this. Still finished 5 seconds down the leader though. I could not reproduce the behaviour when the servo was out of the car. With a different servo in I didn't experience it anymore though...

Do you have the shorty chassis? I think it improved the car a lot when i compared it with the saddle chassis? The griplevel on ORRA can be extremely high!

Yes, this is with the shorty(light weight conversion) chassis.
Yes, the grip level at this track is insane when it's dry!

No shell to show as it's currently away at the painter, but here is my finished install ready for it's first outing at Benfield next weekend. Put the wires over the centre as I'm not a fan of squeezing them under as it it was quite a tight fit with my sensor lead etc.

Nice build and good looking wiring. Where do you get the pink from?

No 4WD because nothing lives up to my original Optima. Until now maybe?...

Usually from my local shop but its distributed by Horizon Hobbies, it's trickbits. The stuff I have on that car is Turnigy wire and i got it from a seller on ebay called "Zuue". I love the pink wiring to go with my shells.
