Default BMAX 4 steering post alternatives please

Hi,

These are thin on the ground if not out of stock in most places now. I heard that some drivers, perhaps the team even were using m3 screws or similar instead. Can any one help shed light on this method as it's the only damaged part I don't have spare for currently and would love a better solution?

Many thanks.
Phil

As far as I know the team used to use extra long M3 screws into the posts to beef them up a bit and stop them cracking, not sure of any other posts could fit??

Maybe take a look at the PR or Xb4 see if they could be used??

You can put long screws through and bond the pieces together with threadlock.
I did this at a meeting when i discovered a broken post. You need to get the end of the screw internally away from the place the bearings sits, as it sheers at this point. Fill the inside of the post with M3 screw.
