MRT PTX Personal Transponder.

This has been my transponder for a good few years, and I really wouldn’t have replaced it had I not have needed an RC4 compatible transponder for Neo Buggy this year. Consequently I can testify that I’ve never had any missed laps with it or any discrepancies of any kind, it’s proven to be 100% reliable! The transponder has had the fibreglass backing plate cut down, so it can only be mounted with tape, although I am led to believe you can purchase new backing plates for it should you require. I must also state that the plastic casing is a little tatty and it does have some small cracks where the mounting screws tighten up into the casing, it hasn’t been an issue for myself and I am sure it won’t be an issue for anyone in the future but it is only worth mentioning it. The lead has never been shortened although I have used some heatshrink to neaten up the installation into various vehicles where it has been installed.
