How ironic it is for very high grip.. yet has wet weather tyres fitted!

Looks good otherwise!

Xfactory UK also distribute the Ballistic Buggy tyres - hence them being on there
Looks nice - I just can't drive a 2WD any more - I can barely even drive!

Looks nice! What's needed a whole b4 and b44.2 kit and the conversion?

It looks great with all the carbon so I hate to say it but it seems a bit pricey when you consider you need both cars, and if you do have both donors you could get a cobra chassis for £25?

What am I missing?

All that is required is the B44.2 rear end and centre drive and the front from the X6 Cubed/B4 - whichever you choose to convert

There is no real need to buy complete cars, certainly not two, in order to get what you need. The Level 1 conversion takes an X6 Cubed already owned to be converted, you would then only need the B44 parts..

The cobra chassis, as great as it is, is just that - a chassis - on its own. The X6-S is more than just the chassis with both conversions containing multiple parts and the level 2 includes all the X-factory parts required as well as a new body and wing also.

When just a carbon chassis for a B44.2 is just short of £80 a whole conversion for just over £100 in our opinion is not too bad at all.

Alloy was not the way we wanted to go with this project, we wanted to follow many of the design cues from the X6 Cubed with carbon for its lightweight and rigidity, combined with top decks for the required strength they bring without fear of any possible bending or tweaking seen on many alloy versions over the past 12-18 months, which is why our car is what it is.......

Always good to see people questioning a product...

It is exactly what it says on the tin, a conversion. So another nice option for people to run.

You would need a b44.2 and a B4.2 or X6 cubed.

Expensive if you have none of these cars but to be fair, they are aimed at people who have these cars. As are the X6 and C4.2 etc.

All these conversions are similar. DB1 and DB2 are the same.

a grand total of £858 Give or take

shit it wants to be good for that

on the plus side if you need any parts for the rear of b4 and front of b44 find your local x6s driver guaranteed to have spares.

the car looks pretty go tho

Thankyou someone with some comon sense who understands...

Why would anyone want a complete B44.2 kit, complete B4.2 kit, X6 Cubed kit and the Level 2 Conversion (which is for some one who DOES NOT have an X6 Cubed kit)???

As stated by those talking common sense, the conversion is aimed at two types of people, those with an X6 Cubed they wish to turn into forward motor or those with a B44 they wish to convert to 2wd, either way it is for someone who wants to convert somthing existing that they have...

If you "have" a B44.2 already, you buy the Level 2 conversion and a handful of B4.2 front end parts (front bulkhead, tower, steering, hubs, bumper etc - no shocks or bearings required these would be in your B44.2) approx £50/60 worth of parts maximum is is all you need.

If you "have" an X6 Cubed already, you buy the level 1 conversion and either the back end parts of a B44.2 or worst case a B44.2 kit and strip it...

Neither route is anywhere near £800+, that is just stupid/crazy to even put that........

So unless you are Stu, who has £858 he wants to spend, wants to have 8 Big Bore shock absorbers on his car, a complete steath B4 gearbox and rear end built up in is pitbox alongside the full B44.2 front end that he plans only to keep there for nostlagia purposes too and you too cannot be bothered with selling off any unused parts you dont require to your race friends or advertise them here on oOple for sale, then I think everyone else will be OK

On the display model, yes they are TLR Big Bores, however most of our team have been using the AE Big Bores from the B44.2 in testing so far. The idea to fit the TLR's to the photo car was to show that they fit and are an option, since everyone will (hopefully) already assume that the AE BB's will fit anyhow.

The set up sheets for the car show details for both AE BB and TLR BB with an added space for other types of shocks that poeple may choose to run also...

Like it

just putting into perspective that's all if you haven't already got any of the above and you want a new kit to race on super high grip that doesn't bend and has the quality factor.

I may have to pass this time as I have none of the above.
