Centre shaft one-way for the FS
Just wondering if one were available how many people would want to use one?
The reason I'm asking is that I am still not a fan of one-way diffs and also struggle with a car with full time 4wd. On every other car I've had the usual solution is to put a one-way on the layshaft ... obviously thats quite a challenge on the ZX5-FS due to the total lack of space to fit anything. I think I have come up with a workable solution to the problem and am going to make a few up ... After the weekend (thanks to Niggs98 for watching the car so closely) I have come to the conclusion that just about the only thing wrong with the car now is that it pushes really hard under breaking with a diff in and tries to climb over itself a bit with the one-way diff. If I can get a centre one-way in there I think it would release serious amounts of time from the car! |
