Default hall refurb

was out caerwent so went for a look at the hall, seems the lighting has been done in the hall and good progress on the flat roof.
maybe pete can get an update on when it will be completed.

All's going well with refurbishment, it'll be freshly decorated too.
Still looking at early September, if I can get a better update than that I'll pass it on

went for a look at the progress as was out that way, all work on roofs have been completed and the scaffolding is gone as are the containers and fencing around the car park etc, the hall has been painted and lighting is up, looks like they only need to refit the mesh panels on the windows . l think we should be racing again next friday

Sadly not Brian.
We've been chasing for updates and have been advised that there is still more work to be done, including mesh to protect the new lights.

We've been advised that we should be able to be racing again on the 23rd September, but as soon as I get confirmation of that then I'll post it everywhere!

looks like they are dragging it out then as there was`nt anyone working there at 1pm and the place was locked up.
pete, any thoughts about new plastic gutter/downpipe , hose etc for the track.

1PM? maybe they were on their lunch. It is what it is. We have been given the date, I am sure they would get us in sooner if they can.

Yes Brian, we are looking to get new track markings for our return to racing.
We also have to check what state our stuff is in (including rostrum boxes) so may look to organise something and get as many helpers as possible.
