Mark,
Where did you get the carbon lipo spacers and aerial holder and how did you fit the gear cover to the motorplate?

Lee the carbon spacers and the gear cover motor plate are from Team Xtreme direct. The carbon spacers are around £10 and the motor plate is £39.99 but call Xtreme to confirm.

The aerial mount is one i had in my spares box from an Associated TC6 touring car

Hope this helps

No worries, Team Xtreme are at the Area 51 GP so I'd give them a buzz in the new year to get the bits on order.

The motor mount is a whole new piece not just a motor plate and all CNC goodness! It's very nice and trick looking with the Vega Elite writing engraved on it.

Little update on my B4.1 Vega: shorty lipo, thanks to Cml for sorting me out with these.

Not ran it yet but will report back with my findings next week/ 2 weeks when I do a bit of 2wd!

I've tried this mark, I found that it didn't really make a big difference, but if you place the saddles side by side like the gen 1 cars it made a big difference being able to move the cells forwards and backwards in the chassis. I have even tried the shorty side ways and that gives even more scope for shifting weight around.Hope this helps

Cheers for the advice mate I'll have a play with cell location when I'm at the next meeting.

Iv made up a lead plate for under the lipo, it's 82 g so will try this with and with out.
