SC10 4x4 just built mine and compared to slash 4x4 handles and drives much better, can take courners so much faster and seems solid, cant wait to race it now, also have the sc 10 2wd these seem to run well at the races, keeps winning.

Losi XXX SCT for 2WD or Losi Ten SCTE for 4WD,

guess which brand is my bag!

You wouldn't go wrong with a Blitz or SC10, both very competitive, both strong and easy to set up with lots of aftermarket parts if you desire.

Our club is full of HPI and Associated trucks and couldn't say one is any better than other, just personal choice and driving style i suppose.

the Losi XXX SCT is very similar idea to them so can't see why it wouldn't be as good, just not tried one yet!

If you want 4WD then the Durango is the one to have, seems to be far quicker and balanced than others... if you want 4wd but don't want to spend £280 on a roller then go for the Hong Nor SCRT10, brilliant bit of kit for the money, i use one as a back up truck and club racer, love it!

If going 4WD then note that they sap power so you will need 5000+ LiPo's with a 50c+ rating and a 4.5 550 set up to keep up with us.

The 2wd class is far more popular with a good field of them at most club meetings i've been to lately.

You can't really go wrong with an SC10, proven race winner and dead easy to get parts for if you need anything as most of the things that wear (diff parts ect) are exactly the same as the B4.1

Ive got a Blitz and a Durango. Cant fault either of them. All major brands make a good sct. I'd go with the one that your LHS supports best so parts/hopups are easy to obtain.

Can't fault my SC10

It sounds like your going to bin the ESC and motor pretty quickly if you buy a RTR? What not look for a secondhand roller and spend the saved cash on radio gear and a decent servo

Maybe a second hand Blitz ESE would fit the bill?

My Rango DESC410R is sublime. It's not far from a DEX410 under the shell - so balanced.

Er-Indoors caught me stroking it the other day

In 2wd... Kyosho Ultima SC or the SC-R is the way to roll..

The cars are bullet proof... spares arnt an issue.. (if you ever break anything!)

Arrow sc10

Sc10 is proven time and time again...2wd that is...its a little early to predict whats going on with 4wd as I know there are some reservations regarding some areas of the lay out (only what I have heard)....either way Associated seem to have it locked with there short course platforms at the moment.....I do really like the look of the new Losi SCTE 4wd...kinda 22 looking in its ali chassis

sc10 is a great truck. it jumps like a gliding swan lol..go for it

In a word... no!

The aftermarket body makers... proline and jConcepts mainly... make their body styles in different forms to it different trucks.

SC10 type bodies are generally narrower then the ones that fit Blitz.

Its mainly to do with the front and rear bumpers to how the body sits... most can be made to fit by hacking outside the proper lines... but why bother when their are loads of specific types in different styles for the different models.

I think the stock Blitz body looks good, they sit low and look wide.

My next one will be the new Proline 'aero' type body... lots of fins and slots to play with to help stop parachuting and improve straightline speed and stability (allegedly)
