Default MARDAVE RACING AT THE NEW LEAMINGTON CLUB VENUE

The LEAMINGTON CLUB, or DD MODEL CAR RACING as its Officially known, has been going for a number of years, but has quite recently Moved to a Fantastic New Venue in the heart of Leamington Spa.

THE LEAMINGTON CLUB TRACK

They Race every Wednesday Night & Cater for ALL Classes of Electric, but Mardave V12 Standard, Mardave V12 Modified, GT10 & 1/10th Touring Cars are generally the most Popular. Its £5 to Race & everyone gets atleast 3 Qualifying Rounds followed by Finals..........the First Heat is usually on the Line by 7.15pm!
Theres also a Tuck Shop there everyweek, for anyone Requiring any Hot/Cold Drinks, Crisps/Sweets etc + a Mardave Shop for anyone that is Unfortunate to Break their Cars!

The Sports Hall itself does'nt have any Tables or Chairs in there, so you do have to bring your own + an Extension Lead(if possible), as Power Points are of a Limited Supply!

ADDRESS OF VENUE
Mid-Warwickshire College,
Warwick New Road,
Leamington Spa,
Warwickshire,
CV32 5JE.

Yep, there are normally a couple there, they race in with the touring cars, if there were enough they could have their own heat, bring along the mardave as well if you have one as you only pay for one class, what value eh!

Yep there are always 3 or 4 gt10s going round. It's a very friendly club and welcomes anyone who enjoys racing to come down and have a play.
I am pretty much there every week and am more than happy to help put anyone who asks just look for me in the pits.

Bit of an old thread, but it came up on Google so thought I'd post an update!

Leamington RCCC are still going strong, venue is the same as posted above. You can find more details at our facebook group here.

Race fees are now £7, with racing starting around 7pm and 4 rounds of qualifying plus finals. Don't worry if you're late, we can slot you in for round 2; or let us know in advance and we'll pre-book you.

Classes for GT12, Touring Car, F1 and Buggy, but all electric cars are welcome - we'll fit you in somewhere
