Default Barrow 2wd regional event info

The event is being held in the same place as the 4wd round was, so those who have attended previously will know the crack.
For those who didnt, the event is held in Barrow park.

Greengate Street
Barrow-in-Furness
Cumbria
LA13 9DT

Vehicles can be parked at the leisure centre carpark as shown on the map, which is a couple of minutes walk away from the track. Alternatively you can park next to the Park Avenue entrance on the street which is closer to the track. The council will not allow parking in the park.
There is public toilets and a cafe on site again marked on the map. Also, mcdonalds is just another 5 mins up the road for those cant live with out one

Gates open 8.30
Booking in 9.30

Hope to see you all here!

There is a family fun day also happening in the park that day, so its likely to be busy. If you need to unload down by the track area drive down from the park avenue entrance very slowly, with hazard lights on and unload quickly. This should be okay. Be aware any damage to the grass with vehicles could jeopardise our club meets in the park.

How near can we get to the pitting area? I don't fancy lugging my heavy genny across fields - not at my tender age, cough, cough

You can get right onto the pitting area from the park avenue entrance for unloading purposes. Like Scott said, only drive down if you really NEED too.

Il check that out today Chris, if that is the case the park avenue entrance can still be accessed. The post code in the first post is for the leisure centre, head there and turn onto greengate street. Carry on up and Park avenue is the third right.

I am sure someone from the host club will have made arrangements for people that use their big car for charging off. If not there must be someone who is willing to let you charge off their genny (for a small fee)
