hello ooplers, got this car in a lot and baffled on what it could be?

its 1/16th scale

Pretty sure it is electric - resistor speed controller on rear pod.

got to be electric, has old type wire resistor speedo.

could even be an early 12th car

or AYK 1/12th ?

Looks like an AYK. Circa late 1970s early 80's. Speedo mount looks home made.

Afaik not a Tamiya going by the front bumper: I don't recall Tamiya having metal bumpers with these girder structure-type holes punched in them
