no probs mate, but i dont really want to be spending to much money on the RB5 as i want to get a B4 before the winter series starts, so the RB5 will be going......

so ideally i gotta race wednesday with what ever i have (a car with no spares)

good luck to me

hi
we are racing the rb5 sp
did someone try the old rear brace so the rear toein is about 1 degree
we raced it on our last national on astro and the cornering speed was superb
even in the rain the car feld realy good
just wondering if other people use it

Something I'd looked at but actually doing it the other way around (ie. using the wider new front brace to reduce inboard toe-in) to create more rotation.

Again, anothrer useful tuning aid ... suprely the Kyosho cars have to be the most option rich chassis out there at present

Are you running long wheel base?
Also sometimes having to much sterring can cause this type affect have you tried turning your steering down?

Ok, I need to see a full set up in order to be able to help you!

TBH indoors and carpet are not my strongest point as I only race indoors a couple of times a year but I can help. Post it up and I'll see what I can do.

First point will be that is an odd pairing on the springs!!!!

Try Kysoho lime green #75 on the front / 40wt 2C (shocks in outer hole on the wishbone ALWAYS!!) and Kyosho silver #70 / 30wt 2B on the rear kit shock locations and work from there.

Shortest link on the rear, 0mm under inner ball stud. Front link out on both bulkhead and hub, 0mm under inner ballstud.

I am sure Nick Caro has carpet setups as he races indoors alot over the winter.

Hi Gents,

Roger, you are right; Nick get a couple of setup for indoor track, both carpet and sport hall floor. The given links are the two latest from Nick on this type of surface.

It would be interesting to know which car you are using (RB5 or RB5SP), the tires (best guess is shuey mini pins yellow all around)... and so on. As said Roger, the whole setup!
