Dead LRP Soldering Iron
I brought a LRP soldering iron and about 6 months later it died.. Ive rarely used the iron and rather gutted about it all, My local importer is jerking me around currently and not going to honor warranty by the looks of it.
The iron was on and then it just made a very quiet "click" noise, i thought maybe the fuse blew, nope that was all good, couldn't smell anything popped the back cover off and couldn't see any component damage anywhere so im clueless.. The unit is still with the importer coming upto 1.5months now, any ideas on what could be wrong as im not getting much luck with a warranty claim and I will be requesting the item be sent back and i'll pull the boards and have a real good look. For such a expensive item im rather pissed about it all, i would have been lucky if i turned it on 25 times re-wired 2 ESC's for 12th use @ 480ºC and did a handfull of 4mm bullets on ESC's and maybe 8 motor swap outs all at 420ºC |

Check for continuity from the plug to the iron.
