Sanwa receivers - very tight plug sockets
Is it just me or are all sanwa receivers very tight to fit servo / ESC plugs in?
I have had to Dremel a couple just to get them to fit! Any suggestions? Are there special plugs that fit better?

Same here. I've purchased various different plugs for shortening leads, and they're all very tight.

Just swapped to sanwa and all of my used plugs are very tight so they definitely a tighter tolerance than my previous radio gear ever was

They are a little tight but better that than have a plug work loose which I've personally had happen on KO RXs in the past.

I had the same issue ever since buying my MT-4 but it came with 2 Sanwa plastic-geared servos (i.e Futaba S3003 equivalents) and the blue plugs that were attached to those fitted the RX aperture perfectly.
Needless to say I cut them off the £5 servos and soldered them to my servo/ESC wires. On my other cars I use a servo extension lead for the ESC, this means you can keep unplugging the ESC by hand to try different settings without ruining the plug which would happen pretty quickly if I had to keep unplugging it from the RX with pliers. Still a right PITA unplugging the servo though. Would be good to know if it's possible to buy genuine Sanwa servo leads, if so that would be the best way to sort it. I'm glad it isn't just me trying to use the wrong plug. My thumb and finger are still sore from trying to push them in yesterday!

I had noticed that fitment was tight but then again we all like it tight 😉

It could be the plug, as not all of them have the chamfers on one side that is required for Sanwa receivers.

Raced today down at major with a handout transponder and at end came to unplug the pt from my sanwa 461 and the receiver came apart (thought at first the double sided tape had come loose, but no, the tape help, but the rx split rather than release a plug from the tight grip...)
There is snug and there is too snug. I think sanwa may be too snug...
