The item in the bag marked tm2 looks like a direct replacement for the Tamiya Mantaray rear tower.

Ok so now I've renamed my thred I think I should ad to it.
I managed to spend some time on it last night. So I striped it down to give it a bit of a clean and rebuild the diffs I say clean it was only a little dusty as it's been on a shelf for a bit by the looks of it.
So

After a front end strip down and cleaned the front MMS diff with some fairy I honed the diff plates with a bit of 240 grit (thanks derbydan ) I put the front housing back together with the fresh diff in place

When I was putting it back together the front suspension brackets didn't fit properly with the alloy housing, so I had to sand little off both so it now sits better with the chassis and top deck. I would like to find some alloy ones like Luke's from somewhere to finish the front off if anyone knows of any going.

So for now this is how the front end is with the new front shocks that I will be running

There's so much more ground clearance with these over the standed ones.
When I get a bit more time I will get on the the rear diff and as I have a couple of bits I can't wait to put in it hopefully I'll get some time at the weekend to get on to it.

Almost forgot I had a few little bits in the post yesterday thanks dazand a couple of spurs off eBay

So today started off with a delivery of a few bits off daz nice one again pal.

So now were on to the rear diff and it turns out it's not got a MMS rear diff but it has got a trinity one. So that got stiped, cleaned and the thrust washers got honed so all is running nice and smooth now.

In with the delivery of new stuff were brand new uj's and until I compared them I didn't realise how bad the old ones are so on with the new ones

So after all the cleaning and waiting I can finally fit my custom transmission plates made by Tim at SOS-MMRC

So for now the back end is now all cleaned and reassembled well for now until I get some new bearings for the new works hubs so they can go on

Well that's as far as I got today I've still got to re build the rear shocks and fit them and then get some electrics in it

Default Procat

Looking great but can't help but think it would look far nicer with new screws all over it. The originals are a mix of flat blade and Philips.

That's a sweet build. It's really coming together. I always like photos of all the bits new in pack. Those alloy side plates look nice too.

Thanks guys I'm now waiting on a couple of bits. I've just about managed to get everything new for a pro bosscat rear diff. But looking at the trinity one I may just use that and the alloy out drives from the pro diff instead of the delrin ones. As the drum is the same size but looks better than the Schumacher one.

When my new caliper turns up I'll be mesuring all my bearings to get new ones of those too so it'll be in bits again
