Cool DEX 410R Body. Problem!

As it was mentioned in the Oople review :"The shell tends to touch the top of the front window against the spur gear cover"
this is due tioi the new higher motor mount for the 25mm Lipos. Has anyone solved this problem?

If you cut the shell about 5mm lower than the cut line, you can sit the shell a little higher. This is how I run mine and its fine. You will have to use velcro to fasten the shell on rather than the body pins.

But I ran the old one the same so its just natural to do it.

So best way of securing the shell is with Velcro? Got a nice shell from Jon Miller and would like it to last more than a meeting etc.

Maybe the shell cut out lines should reflect the actual cut out.

Its a pain when you cut the shell and the shell does not fit properly, as I have !!

Just fitted mine and it seems too high and not enough for Velcro
