Ok. No progress yet but the car will be 1cm longer then the standard length are.

why are you not making the chassis and rear tplate as one peice ?.

I tryed but it was to difficult to put the transmission to the t plate. And of course the arm support.

I had the idea of making a carbon fibre chassis for mine. I was going to use some circuit board threaded spacers to mount the gearbox. I have used them before and they work well. I may dig out my design and send it too Fibrelyte to make for me.

I had the same problem but found out what the issue was.
Is there on the market carbon chassis for sell to this car.
If somebody knows so please share some links..

At this point the car weights 1395gr without recivier.wing and the esc.
I have lots of aluminium in the car so thats wy the weight is so high.

Start working on the body now.
The funny mould is now ready and the mould release wax is on.
Now ill laminate the glassfiber on and that will be the mould and with the mould will my friend make bodies to me.

Ok.
I put one layer of glassfiber and there was an big no for that so I took the carbon cloth and start stopping that on the body.
Now the moulding is ready and I hope I have pics for you of an ready dry carbon body mould.
This carbon body is so heavy that this cant be use, but for sure it is stiff.

Okey. I have done some misstakes on the mould so today I made an carbon body so lets see how good it is going to be.
I used 600gr carbon cloth so it is going to be very stiff.
More pics tomorrow.
