GTB ball diff rebuild, and instructions wanted :)
ok so the ol heap of a car I bought needs the diffs stripping and cleaning
Im not going to change to gear diffs as I just cant justify the cost at the moment, Im only just up to a pace that stops me being a mobile chicane LOL so, any tips, I assume a pure silicone grease on the diff balls, are the diffs adjustable? how do you set them back up, and what about the belt tensioner things that the diff runs in?? anyone know of a download for a GTB instruction book? cheers

yes they are adjustable...before you start use a tray to work on as lots of small inside(parts\balls)and if you drop one its caught in the tray, use tweezers on the balls
diff lube(AE or Schumacher) on the balls (tiny amount on each ball) black (moly) grease on the thrust race there are some general diff building tips on YouTube, and use the exploded diagram for help on re-assembly you can turn the diff rings over if they haven't been done already if there that bad, until you get some new ones you only need to rebuild them if they are dry or grating
