Default 210 RTR mid engine

Is there a kit you can buy that contains everything needed to convert the RTR to mid engine and is it easy to do?

Sometimes people sell the kit on eBay. It's not an actual kit as such, but basically you need (to convert to the most popular MM4)
TD310238
TD601002
TD310247
TD709033

Buying these bits by part number do work out fairly expensive because if you take TD601002, you only need 2 bearings, but the kit comes with 4. Same with the idler pin, you only need 1. You can probably buy the bearings & shims much cheaper on eBay by searching for the bearing size/dimensions etc.

I paid £12 for all the bits from eBay. You also need a 2x20mm M3 button head bolts.

Everything else comes either already fitted to the car or in the box as spares. It's not that hard to do, just a case of downloading the PDF manual from their website and effectively building it from the manual.

Thanks

I bought these of eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2010873617...84.m1439.l2649

All the bits you need that are not in the kit. You then need 2x10 mm screws but that is all.

You can actually make a mid motor car from the bits in the rtr but it will be 3 gear rather than 4
