Default Free Drawing Software for Mac?

Hello,

I'm looking for a Free 2D Software for Mac, as i want to creat a custom chassis and some other bits for my cars.
I was using Illustrator a fiew years ago, for designing my indoor shockflyers, but it doesn't work any more on my new PC, so i'm looking for some nice and simple freeware.
I've tryed some 3D freeware, but i do not have that much time, to get deeper into it and it is not naccesary for what i would like to do, or need at the moment.

After creating the file, i want to give it to a watter jet company, to do the cuting, this company does need .dxf files, to work with.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance and

Try Inkscape, bit of a learning curve though.
