Problem with going Pro, is you got to keep the drive and imagination flowing and not burn yourself out. Hope it goes well for you though Tel.

Thats right, it can get a bit of a struggle thinking up new stuff, but most of the time people are just asking for their own designs copying. I used to hate doing the same design more than once but I'm not so bothered now, I'll just change a couple of things on it to make it look slightly different.

luck at shop ufo is simply awesome when it comes to painting shells but his designs can look a little bit 'samey'. plus I personally dont like the grills and lights, but a lot of people do, so who am I to say. also personally i dont think he does everything freehand like he says he does. I've worked in the sign/printing/vynil graphic business for the last 16yrs and I've been painting shells for about 10yrs in all now, and bearing in mind we used to have to cut ALL of our vynil graphics at work BY HAND when I first started working (there were non of the computer stuff back then) and Ive never seen hand work that accurate (not to say it can't be done though) . All his stuff just look TOO uniform to be hand cut. I have seen some of his shells up close and there are knife marks on the shells, but even when you use vynil, some cutting by hand does still need to be done too. but that doesn't mean i'm saying that he doesn't do it all by hand though. just my oppinion.

that was absoloutely mesmorising.....

I do fancy a vynil cutting machine, just for the fact that it would be simpler to make symmetrical designs far easier.

Agreed, that looks ace!!!

DCM - Have to say though, Chris' S4 looks pretty tasty, you've definitely got him the best paint scheme i've seen him have yet, infact all three of his cars are looking superb for 2007!

it s the PL Mugen which is used on xray and hotbodies too.

this is a h7 PL which is very similar to the h8
the PL hyper bodies are a bit chubby compared with the mugen

One of Telsshells on the grid. A LOT cheaper than £150, you don't wait 4 months and you get much better service (he even takes pics of your shell when you are trying to ruin his work on the track!).

Bang on if you ask me...
