Default (old) Losi Shocks question

i have (finally) bought second hand Losi shocks for my B4..

i was about to rebuild them with the losi kit (cardridge etc...) but i noticed the "gold" coating on the shafts has (almost) worn out.

Will my new cartridges wear out faster if i keep my old shafts ?

In other words ; is the gold coating just for bling ?

lets try google translate just for fun ;

haha !

haha

As long that the shafts are still smooth, it will be fine.

[/Babelfish-FR]

Jep, gold coating wears off very fast on the losi shafts. Not really a problem.
