Hi,

Thanks for the thumbs up

Club members get 24/7 access to the track for practice

We hold club meetings on tuesday nights, although we have finished outdoor club meetings now due to lack of daylight hours.

We are moving indoors on tuesday nights in October to a very large equestrian centre about 1/2 mile from our outdoor track, for 1/10th buggys and shortcourse trucks... more info will be published shortly but it is a very good venue with a unique surface that should bring some good racing.

There will be a Summer series starting in May 2011 and i'm planning on running at least 2 large meetings a month.

We have applied for 1/10th regionals next year, will be attending BRCA AGM to submit plans and hopefuly confirm details.

There is our 'Short Course Carnage 2010' meeting on 26th September, 1/10th buggy classes are running at the meeting and you are more than welcome if you want to try the track before winter series starts.

Thanks for your interest,

Mark.

You just answered my next question! Might see you there on 26th then!

Is your "indoor" track on dirt - a bit like Tiverton used to be? Do you sculpt jumps and roll it so it is quite well packed?

I wish it was an indoor dirt track, would be awesome!

The surface is apparantly a special type of matting but gives really good bite for the cars.

Its all new to us so a level playing field with tyre choices.

I haven't seen the venue yet but from what the fellow organisers have said its going to be good, track plans have been finalised and its 3m wide lanes all round to allow for short course classes and 1/8th electric and with 26m long straight, from the track plans it will be comparable in size to worksop indoors!

Track layouts will vary over the winter to keep it a challenge.

Will post a thread up with pictures as i get them.

Mark.
