Hi Toby, keen as ever

location is:

Arena UK
Allington
Grantham
Lincolnshire
NG32 2EF

A hard stone throw from our outdoor venue!

Track size i cannot say until we've been in and measured properly as the owners have shows on for the next week, but will be announced asap.

From the pics i've seen and a rough measurement i have it will be in comparison to the other Sunday meetings held by regional clubs.

Track will be multisurface, the base layer is a cocoa matting, although this will have plenty of carpet and slippy sections thrown in to make it more interesting and a challenge for everyone.

There is no control tyre as yet, since i haven't run a car on it to see what will work.

What surface is the indoor run on, carpet or polished floor?

At the minute there are 2 possibilities...

Mixed surface... carpet/matting and slippy wooden bits to make it interesting

Or...

there may be a chance of being able to build an indoor astroturf track for the winter, but cannot confirm until it happens...

but will definitely be different to flat carpet touring car track with a few small jumps

will let you all know asap and will get pictures up as soon as the venue is kitted out for the first club meeting, which will be early October

Thanks for the interest
