I have nothing constructive to say, so will remain quiet.

Default Work has started

Hi Lads,

The DMCC have a new winter venue. Here's some short clips & pics of the initial setup work.

As a side note the driver of the tractor who delivered the astro turf estimated we had about 8 tons of stuff

Thanks to everyone who turned up last night.

I was amazed at how much was done in the short space of time.

The astro is down, images attached. Just needs a good hover and a brush off and it will be ready for track laying.

It looks great, its only when you are there you realise how big it is, and I think with the way the astro is layed the track will easily be as good if not better than the previous indoor track.

It's about 1km from Naul village. Place looks great, was up there yesterday and it's really taking shape. It'll easily be as good as the last place, probably better!
The track area is slightly narrower, but a good bit longer. Still work to be done, but the hard stuff is over, all the astroturf is in place.
Fair play to Graham for getting the place! Nice timing too, just as it's getting cold!

Fair play to the lads(you know who you are) who put in a momentous effort today laying out and cleaning the track + sorting out the pit area.

Graham's design for all the jumps worked out great, he pre-made a giant jigsaw puzzle and it all went together perfectly.

All the jumps are modular and we can change the jump configuration very quickly, very clever

I had a very quick spin around the track, its quite tricky and technical and good fun

Sorry no pics I was too knackard at the end of a long day

Fair play to all the lads for the fantastic work put in yesterday and over the last few weeks. Place really looks great. Took a couple of pics from the rostrum to give you an idea of how it looks.
