Chris, how many of the FEATURES will be in place Saturday? Obviously I know that it will be completely different from the National track but i'm sure that some of them will take time to 'construct' so they will be there on Saturday right?

I'm not 100 per cent sure but i'm pretty sure that some people practiced on the Leighton track on the Saturday when it was put out ..... perhaps Chris Hampson could put me right on that? ..... if that was the case then is there any reason at all that the whole National track could not be used for Saturday?. As Chris will verify, at one tenth off-road nationals there is no practice on the actual track 7 days prior to the event but I have no idea if that's the case with the micro's !!!!

The track will be completely different to the national track and although some of the jumps etc. will be used nothing will in any way remotely resemble the national track. Don't forget on Sat nights we also have 4 cell and micro tourers racing so it will probably be a flat-ish track with just a few bumps here and there so that we can remove and replace it quickly and easily after the heats.

We have our own keys to the facility so we have 24hr access. We can be there early Sun morning to build stuff.

I would like to point out again, just to be clear...

the Sat night track will not be the national layout, it will obviously use the same carpet, possibly a jump from the national track, but probably most of the non-national jumps

its just an opertunity to get a 'feel' for the venue and the levels of grip

As I said, I wasn't 100 per cent sure, so glad that's been cleared up by Chris
