Default Racing Outdoors

Hi guys

I have been doing alot of work on the Oswestry track over the last few weeks, been tidying, repairing jumps, seeding grass, feeding grass etc etc. Took the camera down and took a few pictures earlier on still more work to be done. A group of club members are going down on saturday to carry on with work. We are hoping to be going outside in two weeks time the 2nd April But we will confirm this closer to the time.

Hi Paul,

Track is in exactly the same place as it has been for the best part (if not longer) 20 years. The building that the track is 'attached' too is where we pit and race Indoors as well.

Yes, although you use the term 'old' Park Hall Camp.

I've only known the 'current' Park Hall Camp so hopefully we're talking about the same place!!!

It's opposite Oswestry Rugby Club (although again, I can't confirm how long that's been there!!)

Are you thinking about popping along one week or is it nostalgia from when you were at Camp when you were younger?

Paul yes this is old park hall camp of what remains of it.

Jonesy. The old park hall camp was massive it stretched over where the bypass is now it went all the way to the orthapedic hospital and included the BT whittington house area and the rugby club. Just infront of where our building we raced in this evening abouts where your dad parked his car was inline with where the parade ground was there abouts
