One of my friends is building his Cougar SV as we speak, he's streaming it live across the internet, ready to race (in the wet) tomorrow at T.O.R.C.H!!!

Schumacher design a nice build process don't they! I've not built one for about a decade...

It's coming along nicely...

It was cake...

I've run into a problem on the gearbox, the moulding isn't too great, and the idler gears dont run smooth...

Uninstall the slipper layshaft, unscrew the 3 gearbox screws a little,
mount the gearbox on the lower gearboxes, fasten the other screws.Reinstall the layshaft. If it's still not smooth ignore - after some packs mine runs as any other gearbox.

Don't worry about it. I spoke to team drivers about this yesterday. They say run it in and it's fine. Mine is smooooth now after a quick zip round.

Cool, as I know a few others who've had similar findings

I'm done, just got to splash a bit of white on a shell and it's ready to test.

8 hours, a bit too long, but I was slowed down by the streaming, the recording of videos and chatting to everyone. Oh, and eating cake and pizza.

I enjoyed that, an interesting experiment.

That was brilliant, had it on all day in the corner of my monitor while trying to do some work, erm haven't got much done.

Thanks for streaming it

I really enjoyed that, I don't like doing builds non-stop, but having it live meant I had to keep on going until it was done.

All ready for testing at TORCH tomorrow.

Pleased people enjoyed it!
