Schumacher design a nice build process don't they! I've not built one for about a decade...
It's coming along nicely... |

It was cake...
I've run into a problem on the gearbox, the moulding isn't too great, and the idler gears dont run smooth... |

Uninstall the slipper layshaft, unscrew the 3 gearbox screws a little,
mount the gearbox on the lower gearboxes, fasten the other screws.Reinstall the layshaft. If it's still not smooth ignore - after some packs mine runs as any other gearbox. Cruise

Don't worry about it. I spoke to team drivers about this yesterday. They say run it in and it's fine. Mine is smooooth now after a quick zip round.

I'm done, just got to splash a bit of white on a shell and it's ready to test.
8 hours, a bit too long, but I was slowed down by the streaming, the recording of videos and chatting to everyone. Oh, and eating cake and pizza. I enjoyed that, an interesting experiment. |

That was brilliant, had it on all day in the corner of my monitor while trying to do some work, erm haven't got much done.
Thanks for streaming it

I really enjoyed that, I don't like doing builds non-stop, but having it live meant I had to keep on going until it was done.
All ready for testing at TORCH tomorrow. Pleased people enjoyed it! |
