A bit about the alloy mounts.......
Noel decided to make these from alloy due to popular request since his original steel version were thought by "some" people (us included at first) to be a little too heavy, this proved unfounded, but neverless Cream have responded and made them in "aerospace quality" alloy and they weigh in at only 4.6g, they also have a very high tensile strength, which makes the thread very strong. That along with the tapping method nearly has them rivaling steel in terms of strength. Certainly strong enough to snap your ballstud before stripping the thread......

Now a bit about the new and improved tower.....
Every once in a while we got to see a tower "delaminate" and wondered if there were ways to improve the material, well there was....
With new methods of postioning the layers of carbon sheet and integrating a new secret material CarbonFlex * was born. We have had these towers tested by some of our own team drivers over the last 5 or 6 months as well drivers from other teams such as TLR too and we will be rolling out CarbonFlex towers in all of our ranges including Kyosho, Yokomo, Losi and more to follow soon too.

* CarbonFlex - Unlike many other types of material CarbonFlex is not a simple laminate with carbon faces but a true inter-woven material that has proved ideal for the rigurs of R/C car shock towers........

Key features of the DMS Tower design

• CarbonFlex material for better strength and durability
• Outer (seldom used) "4th" hole, first found on the K-Factory tower, has been removed, resutling in it becoming more aerodynamic with less chance of digging in the ground too.
• Support struts added to the inner radius to increase stength further still.
• Pre-drilled holes to accept the popular JConcepts and Azarashi 2wd front wings
• Extra material added around all three shock mounting holes to create a "wear zone" - ideal for those running on tracks with hard surfaces that scuff away material when on your roof

The original and best aftermarket front shock tower for the AE and XF cars has now become even better value.. often copied but never bettered!!!
