Just a quick one to say thanks for everyone's patience yesterday and their sportmanship with regard to the difficulties encountered with both number six transponders. It certainly put the pressure on the club and meant that Tom in race control and others had to work even harder than normal. At least the software had the capability to avoid using transponder six as much as possible...

It was a great turnout considering the weather forecast and those that said they were coming and didnt, missed the sun and a dry track for most of the day!

Thanks to Tom and Alex for looking after race control and scrutineering respectively all day long as well as the others who helped out with marshalling, results, etc. You know who you are!

Dont forget that we will be having a work party next weekend (Saturday for sure and probably Sunday too) so any willing help will be very appreciated. We will try and look after the workers with food and drink so hopefully see you on Saturday at 10am.

Thanks all for coming yesterday and for your optimism about the weather! A great turn out, a lot of juniors and some newbie racers as well. All makes for a good day. Apologies we had a few delays but we'll be smooth as clockwork next time (hopefully!).

I only had two DNF's, so things are looking up! Going for the big 7 next time.

See you all soon,
Alex

How bad is this, looked up the times at EPR website. And the open class I let someone run my 2wd and he did 1 lap more then me. Should be a sign? I have only run the b4 5 times.
Give up on 2wd, because he had never run the car before?

Thanks for letting Kyle race your car. He had such a bad day with car trouble. It was great to see him with a smile on his face at the end of the day.

Don't feel bad Tom - he's a quick lad and getting faster all the time. But it was very generous of you to loan him the car to use - it's a long way to come to have such a pants day and you made the day for him.
