Since the track is in a public park you can hop the fence and practice on it any time you want. The only bit that is shut to the general public is the rostrum, which is on a code lock. That code is available to all club members.

If you arrive at the right time, you might find one of the club members practising who can let you on to the rostrum and give you advice.

Get down to the track at the next meeting and speak to some of the guys who will give you all the advise you need/want.

Joining the club is cheap and gives you discounted race day entry and obviously the code to the gate

Head for race control as that is were the very cleaver guys are who will help you out

Great club and track to join mate and once you start you won't want to stop.

Hi Kieran,

As the lads have said, you can essentially use the track but not the rostrum, which does make it difficult to practice, unless you become a member. It's £10 to become a member for a year. Which as Si says makes it much cheaper to join in on our race days. Get yourself down when we're racing and speak to practically anyone who I'm sure will be happy to help.

Darren
