Car confirmed.

Will look identical to original but updated idler gear, lipo ready and shocks wont leak.

They had to retool the chassis which cliff said was not easy or cheap.

Available within 60 days.

good news !!!

can't blame AE to jump on the re-release bandwagon... at least we'll have nice re-releases i'm sure they'll do it better like always

very tempting...

will it be as a kit, or rather RTR ?

Re-release comes with updated 6 gear gearbox (so no slipper) and the bulkhead modified to fit a lipo in there. Stealth gearbox will come later.

Are you putting this up here as a rumor or is this also confirmed?

Also, how limited is limited, and at what price are they going to sell these?

Anyway, this is AWESOME! Fingers crossed that releaseis not too limited and in time for the oOple Invernational?

I put on rc10talk (wydraz)

Upgraded idler gear in 6 gear trans with chassis drilled for Stealth which will come later.

Rear bulkhead modded to fit lipo.

Revised shocks which look the same as golds but dont leak.

Cool.

Can't wait to see all the people that struggle with these modern cars whose fit and finish fit like a glove - try and tackle a 6-gear tranny. Should be a hoot listening to all the whining.

Is that the gears or the people? !
Can't believe they're actually doing it

At least these days Associated won't expect you to deburr every gear with a needle file. The only kit I've ever built that needed a vice, hammer and pump pliers to assemble.
The real fun would be if they include the original instructions.

Just met the man himself Roger Curtis. He signed 2 cards for me....says he has no idea why the buggy is so popular and he wouldn't have rereleased it! Spoke with him and his wife for a long time. Lovely couple.
