Someone figure out how to contact Yokomo . . .and I will discuss opening US distribution with them. Otherwise that is yet another car that should be in the US market that won't be.

You could try this E-mail address:
yokomo_web@teamyokomo.com

However, I don't know how fluent the Yokomo guys are in English...
Maybe you could also ask CML Distributions (UK distributor) to establish contact.

I contacted CML, requesting assistance with contacting Yokomo. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for the tip.

I bought my Yokomo TC from Hobby Haven in Malaysia. I'd definitely recommend them as a place to buy this from.

I really like the car, nice details!
As I am too lazy to switch between mid and rear motor anyway, I'm sure I would be fine with the Yoke...

If the parts list is correct, the B-Max2 is equipped with M2,6 screws...
What is wrong with traditional M3 hardware?!

when a worlds is won buy a mid car, then i would re-ask that question. until then, you have to make what's going to give your drivers the gold.

Well,

I have had a couple of email exchanges with Yokomo to determine if they are seriously interested in distributing in the US. We'll see. I have quite a bit of marketing experience available to me - so hopefully they'll bite.

According to the updated parts list, there are some M2.6 screws among the M3 hardware. Ok, I guess there are some odd screws on every kit.

I'd love to get one, but the price is way out of my league. Especially for a 2wd that isn't very different than my B4...
Sorry, I'm out...

Do you have a price already apart from the Japanese RRP? The only European dealer I have found by now offers the kit for approx. 265 euros. That's around 30 to 50 euros more than a DEX210 or TLR22, but parts don't seem to be more expensive than those of other manufacturers. Titanium turnbuckles seem to be included, and as it is a Yokomo, the diff will be OK right out of the box.
I guess I'll wait for the online store of new German Yokomo distributor and take a look. There are so many nice kits on the market today, I'm sure I'll find something. After almost twenty years since my last 2WD buggy (Cougar 2) and three years of SCTs, it's about time!

If you are happy with your B4, stick with it. I'm not a big fan of Associated any more after struggling with all those design flaws of my early SC10, but I still have to credit them for their great lifecycle support for the ancient B/T4 series. If their new worlds car had been metric, I might have been interested.
