The STCC did the same last year (touring cars) they kept a small stock of MRT PTs and if anyone needed one they could rent one for the day and buy it if they liked it.

Seems the way to go to me, so much easier these days with PTs + 2.4 =D

Hi Dave,

I would urge you to rethink the proposal for only personal transponders to be allowed.

They are expensive and asking a beginer to invest such a significant amount may be a little harsh, after all, they would be better getting tyres or a fast servo than a transponder......

Most of the seasoned racers have personals, as an alternative, could you simply sign out a club transponder to anybobody that does not have one?

I think the numbers on the rechargeables can possibly be used in the same way as a personal transponder?

Speaking from another club, how many hand out transponders do you have? We've only got 4 / 5 which is our problem.
