Default B4 going to make way for 4WD

My B4.1 RTR with anti roll bar fitted and some spares is up for sale, put it all back to standard.
Need some advice on the Kyosho lazer zx5 at £149.
i know price reflects quality but ive got a 9 turn motor and ESC set and a new spektrum set to go in.
i can upgrade as i go along i just dont have the funds to pay £300 plus for one.

any advice will be a massive help.
cheers
Dave (maddy)

That ZX-5 has pretty much nothing in common with the FS2 version some of the others are running - its virtually a different car!

TBH, at that budget you'd be better off getting a good used roller off a Club member. I know Rob Mills was looking at selling his B44 for £100. That and a few spares would be a much better way of spending £150 than a new basic ZX-5.

Which lazer have you seen mate?? Is it the ready set if so I wouldn't bother it's just crap plastic outdrives and about everything else me and mattb have had every lazer zx 5 thoughout their evolution to
The latest fs2. If you havent got a lot of money to spend just buy a second hand one of the for sale section. For £150 you should get a decent car with spares

I'd consider these

Lazer fs
B44
Both these cars are good and both have good stock levels at the local shops so you can get the parts. Also the cars both have newer versions out which make them cheaper to buy second hand but both can be upgraded to the newer ones for about £60-£80 when you get a bit more spare cash but both are saddle pack configuration
