Default how to get axle free from the bearings!

worlds kit, had to sand the axle down to get it fitted into the bearings, but now i was considering a diff, however the axle is stuck solid!

granted it is probably working the most efficient now (axle & bearing centre as one!) but if i needed to remove, what is the easiest way!

Try passing the axle through a ring spanner or socket so that it supports the inner race. Place a nut on the axle and leave flush the the threads. This is so you don't damage the axle threads then tap the axle.

You could try warming the bearing as it may expand quicker than the axle.

If the bearing is damaged use a dremel cutting disc or similar.
