Round 4 Race report.....

Sunday December 4th 2016....the stage was set for round 4 with the doors opening at 8am...there was the usual stampeed of drivers coming through the door to find that all important space in the pits...

Booking in opened straight away with Becky Vrba doing a grand job to get drivers booked in... free practice followed on shortly afterwards from 8.20am running through to around 9.30am, the track was then closed for a few minor repairs with drivers briefing to follow at 9.50.

We had a busy day ahead with 10 heats of qualifying to get through..we made the decision to run right through with no gaps due to the busy schedule we had ahead of us....the first couple of heats saw the micro's take to the track followed up by the Short Course & Stadium Truck SC & ST heat (first time we've run these class at Mid Devon)...next up were the 4wd heats followed by the 2wd heats.

Qualifying finished at around 4pm with the first lot of Micro finals taking the track followed by the SC & ST, 4wd & 2wd finals taking us through to around 5.30pm.

There was some really close racing today across all levels which was fantastic to see.. we would like to say a huge thank you to those people that helped us set up on the Saturday and pack away on this evening.
It was great to see a really good turn out, we hope you enjoyed the day and will be back for R5 on Sunday January 8th.
Thanks to sponsors John Finch at R C Octane and John Howe at Rc Images for their continued support
We look forward to seeing you all soon.

The team at Mid Devon RC Raceway
