SX3 or K1

I know the K1 is the new cat on the block and looking very nice.

I'm hoping some of the experts may be able to help though. Where I live in NZ there are no dedicated 1/10th tracks, only 1/8th scale tracks which get used for 1/10th, so decent sized jumps, and loose/bumpy surfaces,

When I previously looked into the Cats, the SX3 S1 was the best option as the chassis had the extra flex over the CF which helped grip on bumpy and loose surfaces. Wondering if any of the Schuey team drivers who have driven both may be able to offer me some feedback on how the K1 is likely to go on this style track comapred to the S1 SX3?

With the SX3's at a runout price, they are very tempting as would have spare cash to throw at some option parts as well.
